Method
Prepare the Ribs
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
- In a bowl, mix together all the dry rub ingredients.
- Rub the dry mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
Preheat the Grill
- Preheat your Pit Boss pellet grill to 225°F (107°C).
Smoke the Ribs
- Place the ribs on the grill grates bone side down and close the lid.
- Smoke the ribs for about 3 hours, maintaining the temperature.
Wrap and Continue Cooking
- After 3 hours, remove the ribs and wrap them tightly in aluminum foil.
- Return the wrapped ribs to the grill and cook for an additional 1.5 hours.
Glaze the Ribs
- After 1.5 hours, unwrap the ribs and brush them with BBQ sauce.
- Cook for another 30 minutes to set the glaze.
Serve
- Remove the ribs from the grill, let them rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
