Smoked BBQ Ribs on Pit Boss Pellet Grill

Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 lbs Pork Ribs Baby back or spare ribs
Dry Rub
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper Optional for heat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce Your favorite brand

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
  2. In a bowl, mix together all the dry rub ingredients.
  3. Rub the dry mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
Preheat the Grill
  1. Preheat your Pit Boss pellet grill to 225°F (107°C).
Smoke the Ribs
  1. Place the ribs on the grill grates bone side down and close the lid.
  2. Smoke the ribs for about 3 hours, maintaining the temperature.
Wrap and Continue Cooking
  1. After 3 hours, remove the ribs and wrap them tightly in aluminum foil.
  2. Return the wrapped ribs to the grill and cook for an additional 1.5 hours.
Glaze the Ribs
  1. After 1.5 hours, unwrap the ribs and brush them with BBQ sauce.
  2. Cook for another 30 minutes to set the glaze.
Serve
  1. Remove the ribs from the grill, let them rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

For a smokier flavor, consider using hickory or applewood pellets.
