Method
Prepare the Ribs
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim excess fat.
- In a small bowl, mix together all dry rub ingredients.
- Generously apply the dry rub to both sides of the ribs, pressing it into the meat.
Preheat the Grill
- Preheat your Pit Boss pellet grill to 225°F (107°C).
Smoke the Ribs
- Place the ribs on the grill grates, bone side down, and close the lid.
- Smoke the ribs for 3 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature.
Wrap and Cook
- After 3 hours, remove the ribs and wrap them tightly in aluminum foil.
- Return the wrapped ribs to the grill and cook for an additional 2 hours.
Glaze the Ribs
- After 2 hours, carefully unwrap the ribs and brush with BBQ sauce.
- Return the ribs to the grill for another 30 minutes to set the glaze.
Serve
- Remove the ribs from the grill, let them rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
