Ingredients
  

Purple Sweet Potatoes
  • 2 lbs purple sweet potatoes peeled and cubed
Butter
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
Milk
  • 1/2 cup milk or plant-based milk
Salt
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper to taste
Garlic
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Method
 

Prepare the Sweet Potatoes
  1. Place the cubed purple sweet potatoes in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 20-25 minutes.
Mash the Potatoes
  1. Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot. Add melted butter, milk, salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Mash until smooth and creamy.
