How to Freeze Corn on the Cob

Ingredients
  

Corn
  • 4 ears fresh corn on the cob Husked and cleaned

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Husk the corn and remove all silk strands.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, add the corn and blanch for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Prepare an ice bath by filling a large bowl with ice and cold water.
  5. After blanching, immediately transfer the corn to the ice bath to stop the cooking process for about 5 minutes.
  6. Remove the corn from the ice bath and drain well.
  7. Wrap each ear of corn in freezer bags, removing as much air as possible before sealing.
  8. Label the bags with the date and place them in the freezer.
