Ingredients
  

Hibiscus Tea Base
  • 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers Can be found in health food stores or online.
  • 4 cups water Filtered water is preferred.
  • 1 cup sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice About 4-5 limes.
Garnish
  • 4 slices lime For garnish.
  • 4 sprigs fresh mint Optional, for garnish.

Method
 

Prepare Hibiscus Tea
  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the dried hibiscus flowers and reduce heat to simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and strain the tea into a pitcher.
  4. Stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
  5. Add fresh lime juice and mix well.
Serve
  1. Chill the hibiscus tea in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  2. Serve over ice in glasses, garnished with lime slices and mint sprigs if desired.

Notes
