Ingredients
  

Burger Patties
  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20 blend for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Toppings
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese optional
  • 4 buns burger buns toasted
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1/2 cup pickles sliced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup to taste
  • 1/4 cup mustard to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Patties
  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently and form into 4 equal patties.
Preheat the Grill
  1. Preheat the flat top grill over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
Cook the Burgers
  1. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  2. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Assemble the Burgers
  1. Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes. Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard as desired.
