Ingredients
  

Kale
  • 1 bunch kale stems removed and leaves chopped
Garlic
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
Lemon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Kale
  1. Wash the kale thoroughly under running water and remove the stems. Chop the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
Sauté the Garlic
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Cook the Kale
  1. Add the chopped kale to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic and oil. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the kale is wilted and tender.
Season and Serve
  1. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve warm.
