Prepare Jalapenos
- Wash the jalapenos thoroughly and slice them into rings, removing the seeds if you prefer less heat.
Make the Syrup
- In a saucepan, combine the sugar, apple cider vinegar, water, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
Cook Jalapenos
- Add the sliced jalapenos to the saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes until the jalapenos are tender and the syrup thickens.
Cool and Store
- Remove from heat and let the jalapenos cool in the syrup. Once cooled, transfer to a jar and store in the refrigerator.
