  • 10 leaves fresh sage whole leaves

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it starts to foam.
  2. Continue cooking the butter, stirring frequently, until it turns golden brown and develops a nutty aroma.
  3. Add the fresh sage leaves to the browned butter and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the leaves are crispy.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately over your favorite pasta or vegetables.
