Boiling Corn
  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Add salt to the boiling water if desired.
  3. Carefully add the corn to the boiling water.
  4. Boil the corn for 7-10 minutes, or until tender.
  5. Remove the corn using tongs and let it drain in a colander.
  6. Serve hot with butter and seasoning as desired.
