Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 1 can black beans rinsed and drained
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Optional Toppings
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips for topping
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts optional

Method
 

Prepare the Batter
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a blender, combine black beans, eggs, cocoa powder, maple syrup, peanut butter, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Blend until smooth.
Bake the Brownies
  1. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  2. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top, if using.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Let cool before cutting into squares.
