Ingredients
  

Beef
  • 1 pound flank steak sliced into thin strips
Vegetables
  • 1 medium bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Tortillas
  • 8 small flour tortillas
Toppings
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Marinate the Beef
  1. Add the sliced flank steak to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cook the Beef and Vegetables
  1. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated beef for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the sliced bell pepper and onion. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
Assemble Fajitas
  1. Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave. Fill each tortilla with beef, sautéed vegetables, and desired toppings such as sour cream, cheese, guacamole, and salsa.
