BBQ Chicken Sides

Ingredients
  

Coleslaw
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Corn on the Cob
  • 4 ears corn husked
  • 4 tablespoons butter for serving
  • 1 teaspoon salt for serving
Baked Beans
  • 2 cans baked beans 15 oz each
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Method
 

Prepare Coleslaw
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until well coated.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Cook Corn on the Cob
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the corn and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  3. Drain and serve with butter and salt.
Prepare Baked Beans
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, combine baked beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, mustard, and onion powder.
  3. Stir well and bake for 20-25 minutes until heated through.
